Getting Started

Welcome to Jefferson Elementary! We believe that you are going to find our school to be a very warm and welcoming place! There are always a lot of activities going on!

Parents -- It is critical that you sign up for a School Loop account!  Each grade level uses this resource a little differently, but the Carlsbad Unified School District uses this tool across our school system to get important information out to all parents. You will need this account for the entire time your child is enrolled in the Carlsbad school system! 

This year, you'll see our teachers using this tool even more for communicating important events and classroom projects. Now is the time to sign up!  You will need your child's STUDENT ID to register...you can find that information on your child's report card. It is the same number that they use for the cafeteria....so you can always ask your child (they know this number by heart!). 

If you are still unable to locate this number, please contact our front office, and we'll help you get the correct information.  Registering an account is VERY IMPORTANT, and we want to make sure that all of our parents are receiving the information they need to help their children do their best in school.
