Call (760) 331-5570State law now requires schools to officially record every time a student is absent during instructional time. Therefore, we need your assistance in making sure your child is on time to school and present each day.
If your child is absent, it is important to call the 24-hour Attendance Voice Mail each day your child is absent from school. Please provide the following information:
» Child's full name
» Their teacher's name
» Reason for absence
» Date of absence
» Your name and relationship to child
You are welcome to leave a message and phone number if you like. We will contact you as soon as possible.
Please note: unverified absences will remain on your child’s record as unexcused if we do not hear from you. Also, all students must be on time to school and in their classroom before the bell rings.
To avoid unnecessary interruptions to your child’s teacher and classmates, please make sure your child has everything he or she needs before arriving at school. Calling to remind or dropping off of forgotten items left at home; for example, lunch, instruments, homework, jackets, to name a few, takes away from the teacher’s instructional time and also causes interruptions. Please make sure these types of items are brought to school when the child first arrives. Please also advise your child what they need to do if they forget their lunch; for example, buying a lunch instead. Please let them know what they need to do after school and who will be picking them up.
Also, parents for the security of our students and staff, please always sign in and out on the register in the office when coming on campus. It is also important that you wear a visitor badge and that it be visible at all times.
